About the Sexual Harassment in the Workplace (SHIW) Project

The Sexual Harassment in the Workplace (SHIW) Project is funded by the Department of Justice Canada. This project aims to address and reduce sexual harassment in the workplace, while providing increased access to justice for those who may be experiencing it.

The project aims to achieve these goals through increased awareness, public outreach and education, and legal advice to those experiencing sexual harassment in the workplace.

Community Legal Assistance Sarnia is one of several legal clinics across Ontario participating in the project, and will be serving the Sarnia-Lambon area. We are offering free educational sessions to employers, employees, organizations, schools, and more, on sexual harassment in the workplace.

If you are experiencing sexual harassment in the workplace, we are able to provide free legal advice to help you understand your options. If you qualify financially, we can also represent you in legal proceedings.
